Braces and Invisalign®
-
Traditional Metal Braces
Traditional metal braces are a time-tested orthodontic solution designed to correct a wide range of dental alignment issues.
Made from high-quality stainless steel, these braces consist of brackets attached to each tooth, connected by a wire that applies gentle pressure to gradually shift teeth into their desired positions.
-
Ceramic Braces
Made from clear or tooth-colored materials, these braces blend in with the natural color of your teeth, making them less noticeable than traditional metal braces.
They function similarly, using brackets and wires to gradually shift teeth into alignment.

Other Services
Orthodontics in Conjunction with Orthognathic (Jaw) Surgery
Due to their skeletal growth pattern, certain patients may require orthognathic surgery in addition to orthodontic treatment to address abnormalities in the facial bones. If this is required, Dr. Rea will refer you to a skilled oral surgeon and coordinate your care to ensure a seamless treatment process.
Retainers
Once your orthodontic treatment is finished, retainers are essential for preserving the alignment of your teeth. These devices help ensure that your teeth stay in their new positions and prevent any shifting. Regular and correct use of retainers is crucial for maintaining the results achieved through your orthodontic treatment.
“Dr. Rea is always nice and smiling. I like Invisalign because I don't have to wear a mouthguard for wrestling. I also like it because I have already noticed a change in my teeth.”
